In July 2024 we began to work on the extension and renovation of a semi-detached property in Witton-Le-Wear, County Durham. This was a technically complex project involving the conversion of two semi-detached cottages into one large detached stone built house. The build featured the addition of not one but two rear extensions and a cat-slider dormer to link the properties together. The project also involved carrying out comprehensive internal structural alterations to convert the two houses into one.
The position and age of the house meant that this was quite a challenging and complex renovation however, it was nothing that we were unable to resolve and, as you can see from the photos below, work has continued apace and the structure of the new extension has now been built.
We’ve added photographs of the work in progress below and will be adding more images of the finished project. To see other examples of the home extensions and renovations work we’ve completed recently, take a look at our Gallery page.
